AP Living Family Campout

The other day, Emily, Lisa and I were getting excited talking about planning an AP Living family campout. We thought this would be an ideal bonding time for our families. We can make 1 or 2 meals together, play, hangout around the campfire, etc. We could even make it an annual tradition.
The plan is to go for one night, arriving the morning of Saturday, April 17 and leaving Sunday, April 18. We are thinking of going to Doheny State Beach. We need to make reservations ASAP since things are already filling up for that time frame. I am not totally clear on the cost; it looks like it depends on the location. But it may be approximately $30-$35 per family. Also, the date is not fixed. We may need to change it if the campsite is already full by the time we make reservations.
If you think you and your family can come, please post a comment below, so we can make a campsite reservation. Also, remember to put your name in the comment if you have a profile like "mama bear" or "muffin man," etc., so everyone knows who you are.

Of course we are there!! Yeah! So excited!
I'm thinking we'll just come down for the afternoon on a day pass, then meet you all somewhere?

This sounds awesome I would love to go as well!
My name is Julia and we just got camping gear for this years Christmas! I haven't yet connected with you guys but look forward to soon. We would love to camp with other AP families. Count us in!
Yay! I am glad you all can come! Julia, looking forward to meeting you!
We want to come, but we have no camping gear. Do you know if camping stuff can be rented for cheap? (As in, like, really cheap since we have no income -- lol.) Hmmmm...or my gang could do what Sarah is and come down for the evening. We'll talk! :P
Our family is in, except for our teenager. We are going to borrow our neighbor's small camper. Let me know if we are going to need to get our own space because of it. I am so excited!
We have a few 3 person tents. We will need one and anybody is welcome to use the other two. If it is warm, blankets will suffice if there are no sleeping bags. I'm sure if we all pitch in, we can make it so that anyone can come if they want to without having to shell out anything for gear.
