Calling all Future Homeschoolers and Little Sibs!!
On June 29th we will be starting a play day on Tuesday mornings from 10am-1pm at Cabot Park in Laguna Hills. For more info on this park visit: http://www.funorangecountyparks.com/2008/05/cabot-park-laguna-hills.html
Geared towards toddlers, preschoolers and pre-K and K (2-6ish), we will share a circle time at 10:15 (story, signing and songs). The park is small so moms can see the entire play area- less stress, more networking- one of the most vital things in the early years, as moms begin to think about homeschooling! It has bathrooms very close to the play structures, plenty of parking and it's freeway close. In the fall the Circle time will correlate to the exciting events that will take place at SOC_homeschoolers official park day (Wednesday from 12:30-3:30 beginning September 1, 2010).
Older siblings are always welcome- my 8 year old will be bringing board games, a craft or her DS -although I expect she isn't as old as she imagines herself to be, and will probably find herself playing, too!
